Bygone holidays and journeys made by the early railway companies were often announced to the traveller by large colourful posters displayed on stations and almost anywhere they would be seen by potential rail customers.
They extolled the virtues of comfortable and often quite cheap journeys to the far distant corners of the British Isles.
These posters depicted scenes painted by famous artists of that era, today our railway shows nothing of that long forgotten age... Now, we at Railway Posters In Retrospect recall those wonderful days in producing a small range of colourful mini posters, made for the rail enthusiast and also for rail modellers too... to recreate that golden age of steam rail travel, and to help us to relive the past memories of journeys we enjoyed so much...
